BizTalk Server 2006 R2: Small Installation Gotcha!

The BTS2006 R2 install guide points to the BTS2006 CAB files and this may cause errors during installation or configuration of R2. Microsoft has issued a KB article (KB 942181) that points to the correct CAB files. This only applies if you download the CAB file yourself. If you let the install routine download the CAB file, then everything works just fine.

And yes, the KB article also includes the CAB files for running BizTalk Server 2006 R2 under Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit!

Jeff, We are using Commerce Server 2007; some of our customers are indicating that they use Netscape or Firefox and they are having troubles viewing the site correctly. Does Commerce Server 2007 Support Firefox and Netscape and if so what do I need to do for the browsers to work on our site?

Chris,

It really depends on how you wrote your site code. The Commerce Server APIs really have nothing to do with how the browser displays the web page. If you're having browser compatability issues, then you need to look at the site code and the HTML that the  ASP.NET server components are emitting. I've sucessfully written sites using CS2007 that work just fine on IE and Firefox. I haven't seen anNetscape browser in use for almost five years so I don't test for it.

Jerry,

I'm not sure what you're looking for and I don't work for Microsoft. Since Microsoft has already bid on Yahoo perhaps your question is moot.
